Led by the Wiinipaakw Tours Solidarity Cooperative, this full-day eco-cruise will depart from the community of Waskaganish, where the very first Hudson's Bay Company trading post was established. Climb aboard our 8-passenger boat, the Wiinipek Chiimaan, and join a certified Cree captain to explore beautiful Rupert Bay and its surrounding islands like never before.

Keep your eyes peeled during the tour, as you will have unique opportunities to observe northern flora and fauna. Weather permitting, a stopover on one of the Bay Islands is planned for lunch, with a short hike.

Who knows, maybe you'll be lucky enough to see belugas, caribou or even polar bears! Unforgettable memories and majestic landscapes are guaranteed. Safety equipment is included during the excursion.

- Reservation mandatory (limited seats),
- Departure from Waskaganish at WTSC office located at 12, JSC Watt.
- Departure time between 1pm-2pm (tide dependant).
- Duration of the tour: 4 to 6 hours.
- Passengers MUST be onsite 45 minutes before departure.
- Departure time will be confirmed the day before the beginning of the tour.
- On arrival , you will be requested to sign a risk waiver,
- A quick safety trainning will be held, where you will receive a lifevest for the duration of the trip

***IMPORTANT NOTE: YOU WILL NOT BE ALLOWED TO BOARD IF YOU ARRIVE LATE AND MISS THE SAFETY MEETING. NO REFUNDS WILL BE ISSUED.***

- A closed toilet cabin is at your disposal on board the boat.
