Rustic Cabins – Atihk w (Caribou), Nibiischii

Enjoy a unique stay in a floating cabin, located on the Cliff Bay, with a view of the cliffs and the magnificent Waconichi Lake. The cabins are fully equipped, perfectly insulated for the winter, and offer a full bathroom and a bedroom that can accommodate up to 4 people.

You will start your journey with a warm welcome at the common area of the Waconichi cabins. After your check-in, you will put your snowshoes on (included with your stay) for a 15 minute-walk (1,5 km) to arrive at your final destination. Your luggage will be brought to your cabin by the staff.

Various outdoor activities are offered to you on the site, and a breathtaking winter landscape, and if luck smiles on you, the Northern Lights could even be there!

The cabin includes:
• 1 space with 4 single bunk beds (39 in.)
• Running water *limited quantities
• Sofa bed, tables, and chairs
• Kitchenette
• Propane toilet
• Shower

Not included:
• Meals,
• Bedding (**bring blanket, sheets and pillowcase or sleeping bags for all**),
• Towels, tea towels and dishcloths,
• Soap and shampoo (**must be sulfate-free**).

• On Saturdays during the month of March, between 12pm and 3 pm, embroidery activity, (beading, keyring making).
• Workshop to be held at Waconichi Lake Tipi.
• $50 per person - The price includes workshop, materials, and snacks.
• Minimum of 4 people is required for the activity to take place.

Guided Hike

Enjoy a two-hour guided hike on the Lake Waconichi site, you will observe wildlife and learn more about the surrounding territory.
